Founded in 1963, the Golden State Youth Orchestra nurtures, trains, and develops young musicians from culturally diverse backgrounds and encourages a lasting appreciation of music.   The organization is currently seeking a Part-Time conductor for two ensembles.  We are seeking applicants with significant backgrounds in music education and conducting students of all ages, particularly elementary ages.  Additionally, this position is responsible for selecting age-appropriate music, and participates in new member auditions and seating auditions. In addition to conducting weekly rehearsals, this position is required to conduct three concerts per year, for each of the two ensembles.  Please find more information on the job description.   F
