Job Summary: The Oberlin Conservatory invites applications for a full-time, visiting position in Opera Theater during the 2025-26 academic year.The faculty vacancy will be for the entire 2025-26 academic year. We envision either appointing the successful candidate for the entirety of the 2025-26 academic year, or making separate appointments for each of Fall 2025 and Spring 2026.Responsibilities: Direct mainstage operas (L'amant anonyme by Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges in the fall and Later the Same Evening and Bastianello by John Musto in the spring);Teach opera workshop classes, in collaboration with a music director/pianist, and other opera
