Full-time Director Choral Music, Middle Grades
National Cathedral School seeks a full-time middle grades choral director to support the coordinate 5-8 music program at National Cathedral School and St. Albans School beginning August 2024. Qualified candidates will possess a strong knowledge of choral repertoire, the ability to model healthy vocal technique, comfort with a wide variety of musical styles and traditions, strong keyboard and accompanying skills, and a clear, communicative, and expressive conducting technique/gesture. Candidates should have experience with and a deep appreciation for lower and middle school students and music curriculum. Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferably with a focus in music education, conducting, and/or vocal pedagogy). Certification in
