The Latin School of Chicago is seeking a Piano Accompanist to work as a collaborative member of the choral team and Performing Arts Department. The accompanist will work closely with the vocal music director to execute a positive choral music experience for choirs ranging from 5th grade through high school age. Other duties, including sectional work and lessons will be determined based on the needs of the program and the strengths of the candidate.
HOURS COMMITMENT: We are seeking a minimum of two days per week, but depending on the availability of the candidate the number of hours per week are flexible.
COMPENSATION: Hourly pay rate negotiable commensurate with experience and skill.

Candidates should possess strong piano skills as both a soloist and accompanist, quality sight-reading abilities, proficiency with open-score part reading, and an overall professional level of musicianship. Experience working with middle school and high school age students and choirs is preferred.
