Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre
COLLEGE MISSION: Rochester University prepares students for professional and personal success as they serve in God's world. POSITION SUMMARY: Full-time,Theatre tenure-track faculty. Teach 24 credit hours per academic year, or the equivalent. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: M.A., M.F.A or Ph.D. required (academic emphasis in Music or Musical Theatre) Experience in Vocal Coaching, Music Direction and/or Choral Direction Ability to play piano/accompany. Experience in Stage Directing and Acting Coaching is desirable. Successful teaching experience at the college level is preferred, as well as an understanding of the liberal arts philosophy. ESSENTIAL
