As a School Service Representative you'll work closely with our local school market managing a number of school accounts in the territory, working directly with music teachers and assisting students in obtaining and maintaining instruments. Some key roles of a School Service Representative include:
Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers on the sales floor or by phone.
Maintains knowledge base for the schools that are called on, product lines carried and the selling features of each, and in particular the exclusive sales features.
Listens to customer complaints, examines questionable repairs, and resolves problems to restore and promote good public relations communicating with them on a regular basis to develop rapport and better understand their needs.
Maintains a thorough knowledge base of the Customer’s or Music Director’s likes, dislikes, personality, organization affiliations, instrument preferences, and all other pertinent specific data for each active and inactive account.
Sets up program display preparations for rental programs and in-school clinics and organizing the summer repair schedule.
Sells the Company, exclusive product lines, broad coverage, and self on every call to the Music Director and other influential school and community factors.
Maintains a personal vehicle to call on the assigned territory making sure it is maintained and kept in good running order and has the proper insurance on it.

School Service Representatives must be experienced in a sales environment and have excellent communication skills.
