The Director of the Theater Arts Program will be at the center of all administrative, educational and artistic/creative roles of the Wilson Theater Company. Consideration will be given to any candidate with a valid PA Certificate encompassing 9-12 (Secondary Education). The position's responsibilities are broad, including, but not limited to:
Teaching multiple high school drama/theater courses
Overseeing the implementation of the organizational directives of Wilson Theater Company as outlined in the Wilson Theater Company Constitution and EdTA Troupe #6770 Constitution.
Serving as the artistic director for all Wilson Theater Company productions.
Working with the Wilson Theater Company Business Manager to maintain and carry out financial procedures and records for all Wilson Theater Company activities.
Selecting the entire season of shows that Wilson Theater Company will present.
Overseeing all staffing and casting for each production.
Facilitating weekly Wilson Theater Company student membership meetings.
Facilitating weekly Wilson Theater Company student officer meetings.
Overseeing all fundraising activities for Wilson Theater Company.
Overseeing all promotional activities for Wilson Theater Company events.
Organizing educational and performance field trips and activities for Wilson Theater Company members.
